SAME PATTERN , DIFFERENT COLORS

THANK YOU FOR VISITING MY BLOG AND LEAVING YOUR MOST
APPRECIATED COMMENTS.
IF YOU WISH TO SEE LARGER DETAIL OF THE BEADING IN THESE DOLL OUTFITS,
PLEASE CLICK ON PHOTOS TO ENLARGE.

PLEASE BE SURE TO CHECK BACK IN A DAY OR TWO TO SEE MY NEXT DRESS. IT
TAKES ME APPROXIMATELY EIGHTY HOURS OR MORE TO MAKE ONE OF THESE
OUTFITS, SO I MUST GET BACK TO MY WORK. HAVE A NICE DAY!

THIS PINK DRESS WITH THE BLACK BEADS HAS ACTUALLY SOLD, BUT I AM BUSY WORKING ON THIS SAME PATTERN IN A PALE BLUE THREAD WITH DARKER BLUE BEADS. I WAS'T TOO SURE ABOUT THE COLOR COMBINATION, HOWEVER IT IS TURNING OUT GORGEOUS .

I AM SURE ONE CAN APPRECIATE THE TIME INVOLVED IN CROCHETING ONE OF THESE DRESSES.

NEW "Baby Blue" Blythe FLAPPER Dress Completed

Oh how I wish I owned a Blythe doll to display this outfit properly. I made the above outfit as a custom order for an online friend. I do not own a Blythe doll however I used two different dolls as models to complete. It took me hours to figure out the pattern to crochet this dress, but viewing the completed project is so rewarding.
The first PINK dress I sold for this doll is posted on Flickr here:
I am now working on my 'red' flapper dress. I have to string 'thousands' of beads and sequins for each dress, therefore I MUST get busy. Have a wonderful day...take care.

Flapper dress for Blythe doll

Ain't she sweet...see her walking down the street.
Here is the dress finished...made her a full string of pearls too, but have turned them to her back so the dress will display better. The hat that goes with this dress is on another doll because I did not have a doll with head as large as the doll for whom I made the outfit...therefore had to use two models.
